CEEPUS Guest Lecturer Visits Our Institution
Dr. Kristína Kocisova, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Košice, visited our institution as a guest lecturer within the CEEPUS scholarship programme.She was welcomed by Orsolya Hogya, CEEPUS Network Coordinator and Assistant Lecturer, and Zsuzsa Szabó, International Coordinator. During her visit, Dr. Kocisova delivered lectures on banking and the role of banks within the financial system. She introduced students to the basic functions and services of commercial banks, the role of banks in the economy, and the responsibilities of central banks. The lectures also covered the position of the National Bank of Slovakia within the Eurosystem, as well as the basic characteristics of the euro and the Euro Area. The mobility program provided an excellent opportunity to compare the Hungarian and Slovak banking systems, and it also contributed to the sharing of international educational experiences and the strengthening of professional cooperation between institutions.
