A delegation from a renowned Turkish university in Sárospatak

A delegation from the Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts was hosted by the University of Tokaj and the municipality of Sárospatak. The Turkish institution of higher education was represented by Prof. Dr. Erhan Özden, Rector, Prof. Dr. Zafer Kurtaslan, Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Aybulus, pianist, Kenan Savaş, canonist and Dr. Seda Okur, International Relations Officer. 

The visit was enriched by several important events, organised by Eszter Füzesséryné Dudás, student of the University of Tokaj and Dr. Zsolt Gábor Téglás, Associate Professor. The programme started with a Rector's Reception, during which Prof. Dr. Szabolcs Kéri, Rector of the University of Tokaj and Dr. Kornélia Toma, Rector's Commissioner and Director of the Institute, welcomed the guests. Afterwards, the Turkish and Hungarian artists gave a sold-out concert in the prayer hall of the Reformed Theological University of Sárospatak, where Dr. habil. Sándor Enghy, Rector of the SRHE, Prof. Dr. Szabolcs Kéri, Rector of the THE and Dr. Szabolcs Farkas, Mayor of Sárospatak welcomed the guests. A special part of the programme was the screening of the film “In Bartók's footsteps” for the secondary school and university student community of Sárospatak.
