Teaching Mobility at the University of Rzeszów Supported by the Pannónia Scholarship Programme
As part of the Pannónia Scholarship Programme, Dr Melinda Godzsák Szabóné, Associate Professor at the University of Tokaj, delivered several lectures at the University of Rzeszów in southeastern Poland at the end of May 2026.
The lectures were delivered in English and were attended by Polish students as well as international students studying at the University of Rzeszów. The topics covered a wide range of subjects, including tourism in the Tokaj-Hegyalja region and its tourism heritage, wine and gastronomic tourism in the Tokaj Wine Region, winemaking technologies—with particular emphasis on the production of the so-called Tokaji wine specialities—as well as the film heritage of Northeastern Hungary, Hungarian founders of Hollywood film studios from the region, and the potential of film tourism in the area.
At the University of Rzeszów, our colleague was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Finance, the Vice-Dean for Education and Development, and an Associate Professor from the Faculty. All three had previously visited University of Tokaj on several occasions.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to further strengthen the bilateral student and teaching mobility opportunities, as well as research and publication cooperation between the two institutions, which were initially established in the autumn of 2022.
