Professional Mobility in Arad Supported by the Pannónia Scholarship Programme
As part of a professional mobility programme, second-year Viticulture and Oenology students and students of the Sommelier programme at University of Tokaj took part in a joint professional visit to the Balla Géza Winery in Arad on 20–21 April 2026.
During the programme, the students gained insight into the winery’s viticultural and winemaking processes, became familiar with the technological solutions applied, and learned about the specific winemaking characteristics of the region. The professional programme also included a cellar tour, a guided wine tasting, and professional discussions focusing on wine marketing.
The mobility programme aimed to provide students with practical experience, strengthen their international professional perspective, and develop their sensory and professional skills. The visit also provided an opportunity for students from different programmes to deepen their knowledge of winemaking and gastronomy together, through an interdisciplinary approach.
