CEEPUS mobilities took place at our university in May

In May 2025, our university once again hosted faculty visits organised under the mobility programme. This time, we hosted representatives of two higher education institutions from Slovakia and two from Poland, who contributed to the deepening of academic cooperation with lectures and a tour of the institutions.

The Slovak Technical University in Košice, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was represented by prof. Ing. PhD. Janette Brezinova and Ing. Jakub Brezina came to our university. The visiting lecturers presented the latest research results in their fields and provided an opportunity to exchange professional ideas with students and colleagues.

From Poland, Paulina Ucieklak-Jeż, PhD, lecturer at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, Faculty of Law and Economics, and Dr. hab. Agnieszka Bem from the Faculty of Economics and Finance, University of Economics and Business, Wroclaw. Their presentations not only covered academic topics, but also gave a detailed presentation of training opportunities in their respective institutions, highlighting programmes that could be of interest for future student and faculty mobility cooperation.

During the visit, our guests welcomed questions from interested students and academics and made it clear that their institutions are open to future mobility cooperation and welcome Hungarian partners.

The guests were welcomed by Dr. Erika Wiersumné Gyöngyösi, Associate Professor, Eszter Szilágyi-Tréba, Communication and Marketing Expert, and Zsuzsa Szabó, International Officer. The visit was an excellent opportunity to further strengthen the international network of our institution and to lay the foundations for new concrete cooperation.

The CEEPUS programme will continue to provide opportunities for students and teachers alike to participate in study trips abroad, exchange professional experience and actively join the Central European academic network
