Chinese delegation at the University of Tokaj

The delegation was received on behalf of the University by Dr. Ágnes Horváth, Rector, and Mrs. Katalin Csatlós Komáromi, Director of Social Relations. The meeting was an excellent opportunity for mutual introductions and to take stock of cooperation opportunities. The coastal city in the north-east of China has a vineyard area of nearly 5,000 hectares. The wine-growing region, which is represented by red wine, has 62 wine-producing companies, accounting for 1/9 of China’s wine industry. The Chinese delegation identified the aim of expanding research at the Wine Culture College in their city in both coastal wine and wine culture and indicated that they would welcome the University of Tokaj to contribute to research development, training and their traditional wine festival.
